Nikon D70s, My Non Human Baby By Geneva Daniel on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought my D70s back in 2005, because I wanted something suitable for working at the school newspaper. That camera has gone to an enormous amount of events and places with me. I took it into Niagara Falls covered by a plastic bag even. It is tough as nails, and that's what I need. The shutter still snaps like it did almost 3 years ago, and I have not had a single miniscule problem with this camera. It is so easy to use, I have actually taught several of my friends the basics of using an SLR camera with it. It's been dropped, left in the cold, and treated like a red-headed step child, but my camera is still going strong and taking beautiful pictures. I would recommend this camera for anybody who wants to take a step toward professional photography but isn't ready for the big leagues yet.
