Nintendo DS

This reveiw id for the nintendo DS NOT the nintendo DS LITE. This was purchased 2 years ago at a local gamestop store and was a very nice birthday gift for my seven year old. He played with it non-stop for about a year. I was a little upset that they came out with a DS LITE shortly after I had spent the money on this one. This game system has MANY games to choose from and you can use your old gamebot advance games in this system as well as the DS games so that is definitly a plus. After about a year and a half my son dropped this nintendo and unfortunitly it busted the top screen and in order to get it fixed it will cost me 60.00, the warrenty only lasted one year. So rather than sending it in for repair I think I will save up and purchase a newer handheld system. This has been a very good product, I just dont want to repair it since they have since upgraded to newer systems.
