Nintendo Ds By Poke Joe By PokeJoe on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Nintendo DS is a handheld system, featuring a touch screen. Many games utilize the touch screen, allowing easier movment in turn basted strategy games and creating a new control type for games that were never possibly before. The game selection is very good, and the DS boasts some of the most interesting games to date. The power of the handheld is comparable to the nintendo 64, and the graphical power is behind the PSP. It features WiFi multiplayer for close proximity gaming, and some games allow you to use a WiFi network to play games online with people all around the world. It comes in two varieties, the standard DS, and the newer, sleeker, and more popular DS lite. The DS lite has a few added features, such as a brighter screen than the original, and it's considerably smaller. THe only downfall of the lite variety is the fact that a gameboy advance game will not sit flush with the bottom with the system. It's a solid playform with lots of variety.
