Nintendo DS Handheld Video Game System
By tinkerbelle22 onThe Nintendo DS handheld video game system is fun for all ages. It is very small, so it is perfect to take with you wherever you go. And even though it's small, it has great picture and graphics on it.
The consule has two screens, a simple control pad, and a stylus pen. The pen is used on some video games on the lower screen which is a touch screen. There is also a small microphone on the consule that is occasionally used for certain games as well.
I do find that the battery does not last all that long and if I play it for a while, I end up having to charge the battery almost every day.
I've had a lot of fun with this system and all of the games I've played on it. If you're used to some of the older video game systems, I find that this one takes a little bit of time to get used to, especially with the two screens. It's also a little weird using the stylus pen sometimes. But once you get into it, it's hard to put it down!
The sound and graphics are really terrific for such a small system. I continue to be impressed by those on each game that I play.
If you're looking for a great handheld game consule, I would definitely recommend the Nintendo DS!

I've bought a few of these for my grandchildren and they love, love love them. Excellent gift item and lots of different game cartridges are available.
I got this for my nephew, he loves it! Thanks for sharing. ;)
My 9yr old son brings his DS everywhere... it is very addicting, but he knows his limit!
My 8yo DD has one, she got it for Christmas last year! It is fantastic for passing time while she waits at her brothers skating lessons. We also get games second hand for much less than new ones, a great way to save some money
