Nintendo DS Lite

My son has been wanting a Nintendo DS for quite a while. Well his birthday was last month so me and his dad surprised him with a Nintendo DS.

He has been loving it ever since. We haven't had any problems with it. We brought him the DS Lite, which is slimmer then the regular DS.

This has been great. He had a Leapster before this but hasn't played with it for 2 years, he just out grew it. The Nintendo DS has kept him busy while in the car traveling to grandma's house and it has also kept him busy at grandma's house!

I like how you have the volume control on it, so you can turn it all the way down to not disturb others. It also has a place for headphones, but I will admit we haven't brought any headphones for him yet.

When we first got it we noticed that it wasn't holding the charge that long. It was then we noticed that we had the DS on the brightest screen which uses up the charge much quicker. We went to down to a less brighter screen and the charge last much longer now.

I will admit me and my husband have been enjoying taking our turns on the DS. It is a lot of fun and now we would both like one! That's not in the cards so I guess I will just have to play with my son's Nintendo DS when he is in school.

If you thought about getting a DS but just wasn't sure, do it, I wish we would have brought one for Christmas last year when my son first started talking about one.
