Nintendo DS Lite
By tsmommy06 onFor my birthday last year, my mother-in-law surprised me by getting me a Nintendo DS Lite. I was shocked as she usually only gets me a gift card for Borders or Old Navy. I was so happy with this gift especially since I didn't ask for it and wasn't expecting it.
The Nintendo DS she purchased for me was an M&M special. It came with a small plush red M&M character, a red Nintendo DS, and the M&M Adventures Game. The pack also included an extra stylus. The DS Lite is "7.8 x 5 x 2 inches and 1.1 pounds."
The Nintendo DS comes with some amazing features - most of which I've never used. It has free Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service which allows you to play with players from around the world. The Nintendo DS has a dual touch screen which uses a stylus. It also has A/B/X/Y face buttons, a control pad, Left/Right buttons, and Start and Select buttons. The DS system has a rechargeable battery and the battery has a very long life. You can actually get up to 19 hours of play on one charge.
Nintendo DS has hundreds of games available for purchase. I've gotten most of my games from Best Buy and they average around $20. Some of my favorite games are the Brain Age games.
I love how small and compact this gaming system is. I put it in my purse and it comes in very handy when I'm stuck in a waiting room. I also brought it to the hospital when I had my second baby.
I highly recommend this hand-held gaming system for anyone. It is the perfect gift for young or old. I also recommend that you, of course, buy one for yourself. Have fun gaming!
