We bought our son the Nintendo DS Lite for his birthday in Septemer 2007. It has quickly become a favorite toy of our son, 10, and his parents.

The Nintendo DS Lite that we bought came with the game Brain Age 2, a carrying case, and an extra writing pen. The Nintendo DS is about 2/3 of the size of the original Nintendo DS.

The picture quality and sound quality are really good. This is a good handheld game to take on in the car or anywhere else that you might go. This is also a really good game for the "non" gamer. There are not lots of controls to toggle.

Overall, I strongly recommend this handheld gaming system. The case that comes with this package is really basic. I might consider buying a more sturdy case in the near future, but the case was a free accessory anyway. My son, 10, loves the Nintendo DS gaming system and his parents love it too.
