Nintendo Ds Lite By Userfriendly By userfriendly on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Nintendo DS Lite is the latest handheld gaming console from Nintendo. Basically, it is the new improved version of the older Nintendo DS making the DS Lite smaller, lighter, and has a better battery life than the DS.The DS has two screens (dual screen hence the name DS) with the lower screen having pressure-sensitive touchscreen. The amount of games available in the DS is plenty! Also, the DS Lite is capable of playing GBA games making it a very solid gaming platform. Some of my favorite games include, but are not limited to, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, Mario Party DS, New Super Mario Bros., and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.In my Nintendo DS Lite, gaming lasts up to eight hours before running out of battery in full brightness. That's plenty of time to play particularly during long hours of bus trips. The Nintendo DS also has wireless support, meaning people can play multiplayer games. What's great is that people can join multiplayer sessions even though they don't have that particular game cartridge. It's really fun to play with friends in multiplayer on the DS.All in all, I'm very happy with my DS Lite. The Nintendo DS Lite is definitely worth having.
