Nintendo DS Lite - for all ages
By Linda Amstutz onAs soon as I saw the first commercial for Brain Age, I knew I had to buy a Nintendo DS Lite. I was a little worried. You see, my grandson has a GameBoy and when he plays, I can hardly see the screen. When he asks for a little help, I can't tell what is happening on the game. But not with Nintendo DS Lite. The screen is big and I love that it actually has 2 screens. One with the game shown, and the other screen just for your participation. The little stylus is easy to hold and use and the game comes with an extra stylus, in case you lose the first.
Setting up the Nintendo DS Lite was easy. Just follow the directions and answer the questions. Easy as pie and I understand that the system sends out a signal and you can interact with other gamers. (I have never tried this, I confess. I just want to play games.)
One of the lovely things about Nintendo DS Lite is that you can play games specifically designed for the game system, like BRAIN AGE and BIG BRAIN ACADEMY, but that you can also play certain GameBoy Advanced games on it, too. I love playing a little TETRIS or DR MARIO on the game.
I have enjoyed every minute of my time on my Nintendo DS Lite. It holds a charge for a long time -- lots of playtime for a little bit of charging. My grandson plays with my game sometimes and has grown to like it so much that he traded in his GameBoy for Nintendo DS Lite. I wonder if there is a better recommendation than that!
