Nintendo Game Cube A Cheap, Great Buy! By 4tyGames on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought my Nintendo GameCube in early 2002 at Fry's Electronics for $199.99. It came with a free game, All-Star Baseball 2002. I have owned my GameCube ever since and it has become my preferred gaming console. The early consoles feature a component input which is the best way to play the console. The GameCube controller fits nicely in anyone's hand. There are several great GameCube games to choose from including great Nintendo exclusives like three Zelda games, two Metroid games, and several Resident Evil games. A Nintendo GameCube is also easy to buy used at a cheap price these days. Yes, all GameCube games are backwards compatible with the Nintendo Wii, but the Game Boy Player will only work with a GameCube which is reason enough to buy one. A GameCube is a great choice to buy for a first console to children because of the the cheapness, durability of the system, and small, but harder to scratch discs. A GameCube is an overall great buy.
