Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii is Nintendo's newest home console, which was released in November of 2006.It was the first console to use motion-sensing controllers as its primary method of control.

In my experience, this motion control is well-implemented, especially in the A games.I've found that even ports, like Resident Evil 4, function well with the motion control.The control in RE4 is an elegant upgrade from analog controld, and I've found the Metroid Prime 3 controls to be incredibly smooth and intuitive.Of course, everyone knows Wii Sports, which feels extremely natural and is a great initial showcase for those controls.

I've also had a lot of fun with the Virtual Console, which allows you to download classic games for 5-10 dollars.This digital distribution, combined with the aforementioned smoothly-controlling games, have made the Wii an excellent value for its $250 price tag.
