Nintendo Wii By Disneymom1980 By disneymom1980 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a great choice for families that are looking for something active to do together. Although I'm not really a fan of video games, this one has made me a changed woman. My whole family, including my 5 year old is able to play the games on this system. Plus, you don't just sit on the couch to play. You actually get up and move around. There is a very large selection of game titles to satisfy and gamer and age. There are sports games, driving games, and singing and dancing games. While we did have a very hard time finding this system available by itself instead of in a $600 set, it was well worth the effort. The other drawback that I see to this system is the price of the games. At approximately $50 a piece, they are pretty pricey. While you can rent the games, it would definitely take a while to accummulate much of a selection at home if you weren't willing to throw out the big bucks.
