Nintendo Wii By Rhyswynne By rhyswynne on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Nintendo Wii was released late 2006, and has already created a huge storm in the video gaming world. The console, what was seen as Nintendo's last throw of the dice in the console wars, has confirmed the japanese games giant as a mega power for years to come.

It appeals to the casual gamers, gamers who don't want to spend days sitting in front of the computer, and it shows. The catalog is full of games that are simple, easy to play, and most importantly fun.

You create a Mii, to represent yourself in games such as the bundled Wii Sports, and the games are controlled by the unique two piece controller, the Wii Remote. Controls are simple, thrusting, pointing and tilting the controller usually moves your character, and there are at most 6 buttons to press in a game.

So to conclude, it's cheap, easy to play and fun!
