Nintendo Wii By Tony By Tony on - Updated Sep 26, 2011

The gaming system that is taking the world by storm does (somewhat) live up tot he hype.

I have had multiple opportunities to try out the Nintendo Wii, the first truly interactive home gaming system. I love how the system alows the player to actually control movements by moving yourself. It feels good to get up and move while playing a video game.

The pros of the system are the interactivity it allows for. One can easily work up a sweat while playing a game and that is a good thing in my opinion. The graphics and sound are very good quality and the games seem to be unique.

The downside of the system in my opinion are the games themselves. I love tennis, so I was eager to play the tennis game. The game only allows you to make simple shots and can only be played in doubles mode. It is almost like a cartoon version of tennis. Fun, but not realistic. I want to be able to play tennis like I play in real life.

I would definitely recommend the Wii simply for that fact that it gets you engaged and active. I have a feeling the games will progress and catch up with the system.

I am a harsh critic. I am honest and straight to the point. If I really like something, I will......
