Nintendo Wii love it or hate it
By I-Rock onThe nintendo wii...one of the most praised consoles of our day. Currently outselling the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the idea of gamer interaction is what the poeple have called for. This could be a huge leap into getting toward a some sort of virtual reality. Let me start with the design, sleek white and clean cut to say the lease, it is a very elegant console. the controller or "Wii-mote" is unique and is nothing like we have seen before since the crazy three pronged Nintendo 64 controller, further proving nintendo's strange and unique sense of style. On to the game play as well as the overall interface. the Wii is very responsive and the motion sensitvity is quite surprising, compared to other attempts. It is easy to manuver and quick to get started with the added power button on the "Wii-mote." The console comes with one game, Wii Sports, a variety of sports including tennis, bowling and boxing that puts the players into the action. While playing this, it felt like your playing that sport, this just further shows the amazing use of motion sensory technology. Now the Wii is very fun to play but, now a days poeple are in search for a good hard game to play, something with a challenge. That is what the Wii lacks. I belive the Wii was meant for family and younger audiences. It is really kid friendly, which could be a turn off to extreme gamers. The lack of solid online play is a negative, but it redeems itself with online browsing and a online shop to purchase retro games onto your wii console. In conclusion, if you are looking for a console to play at a party or with your family and friends, buy the Wii, it is now being frequently in-stock and is at alow price (depending where you go) of $150, (thats with tax) i give this product an overall 4 "wii-motes" out of five
