Nintendo Wii System By TexasTink on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We purchased a Nintendo Wii console for my son's birthday and I had no idea how much we would actually use it! It came with the Wii Sports game that has Tennis, Boxing, Bowling and Golf. You actually have to move your body just like you would in real life. I was surprised as to how physical a workout you can get from playing it in your own living room. One great feature it has is a Fitness Test. It keeps track of every member of the family's fitness level in ages. It will give you 3 different sports challenges and then calculate your fitness level. We really enjoy the bowling, it gives us a chance for fun family time without ever leaving the house. One feature my son loves is the fact that you can access the internet through the Wii. You just have to connect it to your computer or a router and you can surf the web on your television. You can also purchase Wii Points Cards that let you buy (with the points) and download classic games like Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong. Kids of any age will have a great time playing the Wii.
