Nirvana-Nevermind
By Tony onReleased in 1991, Nevermind changed the music industry forever.Coming out of the bland power ballads and generic rap of the 1980s, Nirvana gave the world something different.A perfect blend of hard rock, punk and pop.Hard music, with catchy hooks that never leave your head.This was something to take notice.
Nevermind is a great album from start to finish.With classic tracks like "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Come As You Are" and "Lithium" the album simply does not let up.Each and every song is fantastic.This is a very rare thing.
It is tough to listen to this album with "fresh ears" because you have heard every song so many times before.Each time I listen to this album, I try to go back tot he first time I heard it and how blown away I was with how fresh it sounded and how new it appeared.
Nevermind is simply one of the best albums of all time and one of the most important/influential albums as well.This album will be a big seller for years to come.
Amazing Album, Amazing Band..Nirvana Burst on the scene at exactly the right time..music had been stale for what seemed to me like years..then along comes Nirvana and brought back the hope that things were going to change and they certainly didn't dissapoint me. I just wish they had been around much longer..but their music will never die. R.I.P Kurt
