Nissan Pickup By Minion on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
i've owned one of these since highschool. this was only my second vehicle but i've driven many others to give some range of comparrison.
handling: i don't have trouble keeping it on the road, but the powersteering leaves alot to be desired
comfort: quite a bit of headroom. if you're in the front, you should feel right at home. the back seat is pretty crammped though and i wouldn't suggest it for anything other than storage for a cooler or something.
mileage: considering this is a 4 cylinder, pretty poor actually. i'd say 15mpg. though this is an older engine. may be past it's prime. it's a 97' model.
driving: slow, but has alot of low-end for a 4 cylinder.
overview: good reliable vehicle. will not break down. it's an ugly vehicle though.

One of the first things I would look for in a truck is to see if there is a lot of leg room in the back & this sounds like it doesn't cut it!
LOL - it's not that ugly. Gas mileage though - that is ugly. Especially these days.
We owned one like this about 5 or 6 years ago...standard, that was one of the things I liked it for...we got reasonably decent gas mileage from it though, but agree, not the most handsome devil on the road :) Thanks for the info
Sounds like you need a large American truck that gets 10 miles to the gallon/ and is as big as a boat.
