I recently had to purchase a new car because of a accident and it was really hard deciding on what to get but I ended up getting a 2008 Nissan Sentra that had about 20,000 miles on it at first I thought about getting a truck but with gas prices the way they are currently I decided against it. This car turned out to be a very good decision I have always bought only American vehicles and this was the first time that I had thought to look at a foreign manufacture like Nissan. This car is very roomy inside I am 5ft 4in but my friend who is 6ft 4in can sit comfortably with plenty of leg room which surprised me because in my old car that could not happen.This car as a base model 4 cylinder vehicle has a lot of power I went from a 6 cylinder to a 4 and the difference is hardly noticeable. I drive pretty hard on the expressway especially when I have to drive to visit my mother who is 2 hours away and in this car it is hardly noticeable at speeds of 80 MPH and 95 MPH on the expressway. One of my complaints with this vehicle is that the transmission when it is do for maintenance can only be done by a Nissan dealer because of the fact that the new Nissans have a continuously Variable Transmission that allows the shifts to be smoother. In addition the side view mirror they were designed to stand out too far I think they should have made them able to fold in. I get really good mileage with this vehicle and from empty to full at $2.99 a gal I pay about $35 dollars and this lasts for two weeks before requiring refueling and I drive to work and school every day so I thought this was great.
