Nissan Versa S 2007 By Hedy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When I was car shopping this spring, I figured I was looking at the basic cars offered by Honda and Toyota/Scion in fact, we drive away from the Scion dealership planning to go home and search for an xA in the color I wanted. However, Consumer Reports had rated Nissan's new Versa highly, so I figured I'd give a test drive. The instant I drove the Versa, I knew it was a better car than the Xa. It has a larger engine, and is much more solid feeling. The Versa also uses space very effectively-adults can easily sit in its back seat. Its headroom is also very generous, my sister-in-law, who needed an SUV as shhe is tall, was surprised by the headroom this subcompact car has. The one real negative is that its gas mileage isn't as good as other subcompact cars, but its still better than a lot of other cars. The 2008 model has cruise control, which mine does not, and I must admit I miss.
