Nivea Original Moisture Daily Lotion Review By April on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

During my second pregnancy, my skin started drying out, as what happens to most pregnant women. I have a slight sensitivity to lotions, but my doctor and some friends recommended Nivea to me, so I figured I would try it. I went and looked through the different products available and bought the orignal lotion, which has vitamin E in it. I waited until the next morning to try it, after my shower so my skin would absorb it better. Unlike most lotions, Nivea was very watery, and I dumped too much into my hand the first go round. It also made my skin feel very oily and wet, not smooth or soft like I had hoped for. The lotion did stay on my skin for a long time, about eight hours, but whenever I would pick something up or use something, I felt like I was leaving a grease mark behind. I have since thrown the bottle away, after using it for only a week, and feel awful because of the price. The lotion smelled okay, and had some good ingredients in it, but is definetely not a good buy.
