Reviewing: Pro Plus Washerless Lavatory Faucet
Purchased at: Home Depot

When you think bathroom sink faucets, you think Moen, Delta and Peerless. Have you ever heard of Pro Plus? The company is based in Delaware.

I hadn't, but I gave it a shot.

The faucet itself is made overseas, but aren't they all these days? This faucet looks exactly like a few Delta models, especially with the handle, but is arguably cheaper. Its big sales point is that it is washerless. In theory this means you won't have to disassemble your faucet every five years or so to stop leaks.

I've had this faucet in my bathroom for one year and it has worked up to par. It is chrome-plated.

The biggest reason I got it was price and appearance. I wanted something that looked like a Delta faucet, and this fit the bill. It is made of brass, and its polished silver appearance is yet to chip off. (I've seen other faucets painted gold start to lose their luster months after installation because of water.

For a faucet, it's not amazingly trendy, or will wow a bathroom user. But it is easy to grip, effective at what it does and saves some money.

The Pro Plus washerless lavatory faucet comes with a ten-year warranty.
