No Fruits In My Toothpaste By poshpost on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I got to try the Hapee Mandarin Orange Blast tooth gel when it was packaged as the FREE one when I bought the Fresh & Cool variant. Since it was free, I used it. After all, one tube of free toothpaste would go a long way.

But honestly, I hated it. I guess what I don't like is the fruity flavor in my toothpaste. I associate fruit with food and why would I want the flavor of food in my toothpaste when I use it to remove the food flavor in my mouth? I really can't understand the logic with fruit flavored toothpaste. Are there people who couldn't stand the minty taste?

Anyway, I am sure there is fluoride, because the product label says that it is a fluoride tooth product, but I can't really feel it after brushing. Or maybe I associate fluoride with the menthol or mint flavor? I wonder. So I don't really feel fresh and clean after I brush my teeth with it. And the orange flavor? It is disgusting.

If it wasn't free, I would not really buy it and use it. But I continued to use it only because I don't want to throw it away for I know my teeth was still protected with the fluoride. But ugh, seriously!

For its price, I would stick with Fresh & Cool because it makes my mouth fresh and clean.
