No One Knows Fancy Like Nancy By tcmom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This book is the first of a series of Fancy Nancy stories by Jane O'Connor. This story introduces Nancy, who believes that more is Always better when being fancy. Nancy is determined to teach her family a thing or two about being fancy. She loves things that are bright and colorful, and things that sparkle and glisten. What girl won't love the cute illustrations and bright colorful things fancy Nancy has? One of my photos show an illustration which sums up Nancy. The caption reads: 'No one knows fancy like Nancy'. This story is funny and warm with or without the frills, and every little girl (or boy) will enjoy getting to know Fancy Nancy. This book is appropriate for all readers, from preschool to grade 3. It makes a good bedtime story or any other time. The bright and colorful illustratios make it a page-turner that will be read over and over. Once you start a Fancy Nancy book, you will want to read other ones in this series. I recommend this book to anyone who likes the author: Jane O'Connor.
