No Porlbem Cords With Bd Cordless Mower By Geralyn Hydock on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My husband desperately needed a new lawn mower to care for our lawns. I surprised him with this cordless Black and Decker mower. He was in seventh heaven. Yes, it is cordless as it is powered by a volt sealed lead acid battery that allows for trouble free cutting. All my husband or I have to is to flip the switch and it comes on.
Another great feature about this mower we found is that the battery is rechargeable to 60-70 percent in four hours and 100% in sixteen hours. It has a 19" mower deck, a mulch plate, and a bag which collects the leaves. We did not have to go to our local gas station in order to get the gas to run our mower nor do we have to buy any oil or have it tuned up. This puppy starts with a switch.
We found the mower to be as quiet as a mouse and it can mow through just about anything. It does not vibrate like other mowers but it is a bit heavy for me. My husband had no problem pushing it up and down our lawn with ease. He is so proud of his mower!
I highly recommend this mower to anyone with a lawn to mow. We love the fact that it takes no gas therefore we do not have to store gas in our garage where it can spill or pose to be a fire hazard. You need to try out this mower to see just how fast this mower eats up a thick, overgrown lawn.

Thanks for some good information on a type of mower most of us aren't too familiar with!
I ahve always been curious about the electric mowers. Thanks for the information.
This is good information to know. I have a friend who has this mower and loves. It sure sounds great. Thanks for sharing this information.
Funny, my husband just saw a battery powered lawn mower on TV and he was telling me about it. He would really like one. I think it is very interesting how it works and with the price and demand of gas, it is nice not to have to put gas in it.
Can you send one of these to my husband please?! He would be in lawn mower heaven! Fantastic selling point that this does not use gas!
Sounds like a nice mower. And with the cost of gas these days, working on battery makes it an even better value
The price seemed a bit high to me at first, but with the cost of gas lately, this could save alot of money in the long run. I'm going to consider a battery powered mower when ours decides to stop working. Thanks for the information.
I had no idea that an electric mower could be so effective!
