No Pressure Blood Pressure Monitoring By mustangsally82 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is an easy-to-use blood pressure monitor that makes storing up to 30 different readings (with date and time) in the memory very easy. It has a big screen with readings that are easily seen, and it only has a few buttons so it's difficult to make a mistake. There is a power/start button, a memory button, and a button to set the clock. It also comes with the option to use the included AC adaptor or to put four AA batteries in the back and take it with you wherever you may need it.

I got this unit at Wal-mart several years ago. It came with a medium-sized blood pressure cuff, but a larger one was also available for purchase for all you men with giant muscles!

The way it works is simple: you put the blood pressure cuff on your arm with the bottom just above the bend of your elbow. There is a white piece of fabric on the cuff that illustrates the proper way to put it on your arm and also how to position your arm while you're taking your blood pressure.

Next you push the big blue start button. It has the universal symbol for power on it (the circle with the vertical line intersecting it at the top), and once you press it the unit comes on and the cuff begins to inflate. You'll see the numbers going up as the cuff gets tighter, and then as it releases the numbers will start to count down. There is also a little heart icon that flashes in time to the beat of your heart.

Within 30 seconds you have your blood pressure reading on the screen in front of you. It also displays your pulse (in beats per minute). All you have to do to turn it off is press the Start/Power button again. This makes blood pressure monitoring so simple and easy!

That is a great price for what sounds like a nice blood pressure monitor.

Sounds easy to use. And very nice that they offer different sizes since people come in different sizes!

I have not tried this brand yet. Some of their other digitals were not so accurate.
