No Pressure Here

I knew I was getting old when the thing I most wanted for Christmas was a pressure cooker.

I didn't want the old-fashioned kind that bumped and jumped on the stove. I wanted a fancy new-fangled cooker with all the bells and whistles. I was very excited on Christmas when I got my wish!

I am really enjoying my pressure cooker, and this book has been a great help.

These aren't your typical throw in some meat and sauce type recipes. (Believe me I do plenty of that!) These take a little more time and are a little more complicated. They are delicious, though, and worth the effort.

Some of my favorite recipes are Pot Roast With Baby Carrots, Pearl Onions and Cranberry Beans and Thai-Style Shrimp Curry with Long Beans and Coconut Milk.

There are recipes for soups, sauces, fish, steak, pork and even dessert. And squid. Did I mention the squid?

I recommend this book for all you pressure cooker fans out there. You will make some really declious food!
