Nokia 5300 Music Express By reann on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

If you need a cellphone and an mp3player then buy this. It really is a two-in-one combination. It comes with a 1GB SD Card and you have the option of buying a 2gig separately. 1GB still holds plenty of mp3's or background images. The sound of the phone when playing music is loud, especially coming from a phone. We have used it as a small stereo before when needed. The phone has play/stop, next/back, buttons on the side and volume on the other side of the phone. It is a slide phone which makes it oddly shaped when talking on the phone but you have the option of 'locking' the screen and sliding the phone to the closed position when talking. Images do show well on the screen and has a screen saver that can show a different image than the background.

The only big downside is the phone does not lock the keys when you slide it to the normal position. You can change the shortcuts on the main screen to have 'lock phone', making it extremely easy to lock at least.
