Nokia 6126

This little cell phone is a replacement to for my first phone that lost an encounter with water. Luckily the sim card was saved. I found this phone on the UPS premier website for ten dollars and decided that it would do just fine.

It has a large color display on the front and a two inch color display on the inside. The keypad looks fake, but for the price of the phone it's just fine. I have dropped it a couple of times and no problems have followed.

It has a sleek design, which I don't usually find with Nokia products. It's slim and easily fits in most pockets. The only thing you have to watch is the side buttons can be pressed which will drain the battery.

The side camera button allows you to take pictures with the phone closed, great for your self-portraits. The quality of pictures is decent for a cell phone. You can also record videos. With a memory card, sold separately, you can record videos as long as the memory card allows. You can add frames and clip-art to your photos as well.

The tools prove to be useful as they are discovered include: an alarm clock that can be set for selected days of the week; a calendar where birthdays, meetings, and other events may be scheduled; a to-do list to set your daily tasks; notes to record any desired information; a calculator to take care of most mathematical problems including cosign and tangents; a timer and stopwatch that can be used to track laps and splits.

The phone is mp3 compatible and includes a recorder to keep track of the voice memos that need to be remembered. It comes with several ringtones and alerts; my favorites are the rooster for my alarm and the glass tapping for texts.

The other applications include games, recent calls, media net, shopping for new applications, and email.

The sim card and memory card are stored under the backing; this prevents dust and dirt from entering the slots. For a low priced flip phone, this is a great value. I recommend it to anyone looking for just that.
