Nokia Shorty...short on luxuries, tall on value!
By Demon_Buttercup onI purchased the Nokia Shorty cell phone almost 2 years ago in a search for a cell phone that had a loud enough ring so I could hear it well.I was impressed with the small size, it fits very easily into a pocket or the little slot in purses just for cell phones now a days.I did get what I wanted out of the Shorty, a loud ring. There is an option for indoor or outdoor profile rings and if you chose outdoor, the incoming call alert is quite loud. You can also download ringtones, real music. The display is just plain black and white, nothing fancy at all.The keypad is one of the things I like least about the phone. It is hard to text as the keys are so small and close together.I also just found out that it had a built in flashlight, something that was not mentioned in the owner's manaul, but something I found out about online.Battery life is ok, as it gets older the charge lasts less and less, but I have had the same battery for 2 years!Realiability is pretty good, I have gotten reception when a lot of people have not.Overall, the phone is kind of an ugly little plain thing, but a couple of stick on rhinestones makes up for what it is lacking in looks and gives the qulaity of the phone a ittle oomph.

My dad needs a loud ringing phone, this is a great price - I'll pass the info along.
I just hope they get good reception and I am happy. lol Mine has a flashlight too but its pretty pitiful. lol
haven't had a nokia for years now, but I did enjoy the one I had.
There you go-you can instantly bling up your phone with some rhinestones!!
