Non- stick fan?
By Dom Sim onDo you need to wake up in the middle of the night just to off or turn down the speed of the fan when the temperature drops at night ? Before I got this fan I always need to wake up in the middle of the night either to switch off the fan or to turn down the fan. Saw the advertisement one day about the sleep mode function that this fan has - that will decrease the speed of rotation following fall of temperature especially during rainy nights . Thus without a second thought I quickly buy this fan to save me all the trouble of waking up ,to either switch off the fan or decrease the speed.
Other plus points: It comes with a remote control that I can easily control without getting up to go to the switch . It has 3 choices for timer , one hour , two hour or even 6 hours timer. In tropical countries here thunderstormsand lightnings are common too hence to protect our fans from lightning it has a thermal safety fuse to prevent from electrical surge.That is very thoughtful of Panasonic
Cons: Cleaning ceiling fan is always a problem and messy too. If only they have a a material where dust will not stick - anon stick fan !!
I get up all the time.. I think it might be worth it for me to try!
Wow I had no idea that there were fans out there that could adjust to the temp! You are right about the cleaning though...how great would a non stick fan be, LOL.
I did not know Panasonic made fans. Sounds like a good one.
That sleep mode is a super great feature I've had to get up in the middle of the night to adjust our fan. I didn't know they had that feature, that's really great to know.
You're right-sometimes it's tricky to clean fans!!
