I got this PC game for Christmas awhile ago, and was thrilled. Being a fan of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, I thought, "Hey, they only get better!" When I installed it, however, I was rather disappointed. Sure, it had nice flashy 3D effects and did everything it said it could, but somehow it wasn't as fun. The graphics, first of all, weren't that great. They were better than RC2, of course, but really horrible compared to some of the games that were out then. The building system wasn't as good as before - because everything is in 3D, it is much much more difficult to build pathways and the such. The all new CoasterCam that lets you ride the rollercoasters you build is fun at first, but quickly gets repetitive. Lastly, the careers are very, very hard to beat and get more and more boring as you go along.Overall, I was rather disappointed of this product. It didn't have the necessary new features to make it a lot better than Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. I would suggest sticking to the old one.
