My daughter bought these nails because they had skulls on the nails. She figured they were like any other nail and just put them on without reading directions. The nails went on very easy however, the decals wore off in a madder of about an hour. Then about eight hours later one of the nails actual broke leaving pieces of the nail behind. It was a mess trying to get the rest of the nail off.
When I read the actual direction at the very end of them it says you should apply Pretty Woman Mirror Shine to protect the nails decals. This should have been on the front of the package in big letters. When you buy these lovely nails already painted with decals you should not have to do anything to them but apply. The cost of these nails are extraordinarily high so you should not have to buy anything else to keep the nails looking good. At this price you should not have to buy any other product from the company to keep their nails looking good.
I am sorry but I could never recommend the nails by Pretty Woman because they just do not last. When you buy a nail you want it to last and look good.
The assembly of these nails are done in China, Korea, and Japan. The ABS plastic is from Korea, Nail glue is from Japan and the packaging and easy applicator stick is from China. Maybe we need to find nails that are made in the US for better quality. These nails are not worth $1.00 let alone $5.99. Stay clear.

Thanks for the warning, my daughter is constantly asking for these things I I tell her all the time I don't think they will last.
I had used something similar to this once during a party. I did not use the adhesive that came with the nails but instead I used a different sealant that's fit for household use because I figured that if the nail glue will not stick on a piece of cloth or the material I used the glue on will fall from the wall I stick it in, then there is a big chance that it will not stick on my fingers as well. I did not have problems at all and my nails were the envy of my colleagues hehehe. I am not sure regarding safety but after the party the nails were easy to remove, I just washed(not soaked) my fingers with warm water and the nails came off easily. I get to keep the nails afterward for future use.
I did the samething as your daughter, I didn't think I needed to read the directions and the samething happened to me!
Amen to being made in the usa I am so tired of the junk we get from other countries. I say by American...... I do my own nails I wrote an artical yesterday about prenatal vitimins what I left out is that the vitimins strengthen your nails and make them healthier mine now grow really fast.
