Not Bad At All, But Not Exceptional : By RachelReviews on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is my daily conditioner right now. This product is an Allure Magazine Readers' Choice Award Winner of 2009. It won for the best hair conditioner in the drugstore category out of all possible products (Wow!). This list is pretty famous. Readers vote for their favorite items and whichever ones get the most votes are the winners. It's a good way to find popular and presumably, quality, items.

I find it very thick and creamy. I use a generous amount for my thick, thirsty, dry wavy hair. I think this would be too heavy for fine hair. If I put too much on my roots it can leave my hair looking a little flat. The only way it could work for such hair types is if they used just a small dab on the ends. Also, then the conditioner would last forever! It detangles my hair well and leaves it feeling soft after. The scent is OK. It's not my all time favorite scent by any means. The fragrance is a generic, girly, SOAPY, fresh scent. I don't love it, don't hate it either. It's just that after using Redken All Soft conditioner and loving that scent (Coconut goodness), it makes you more picky with hair product scents, I think.
