Not bad I must say

I have been a Type 1 diabetic since I was approximately 18 months old, so...I guess you could say I've done a lot of playing around with different meters over the years. One of the two meters I currently use is the Onetouch Ultrasmart. My doctor gave me one of these to start, and since then we have bought about 5, I believe. It has a lot of fancy features, but truthfully, I don't use them very often. I like the small amount of blood this meter needs, and how quickly it can give me a number, because truthfully, I want to get that thing put away as quickly as possible. Also, it looks very similar to a phone of some sort, so many people mistake it as that. One of the things I've found to be pretty nice about this, is it doesn't start counting down until the blood is halfway there. One of the cons to this meter, is it's a little overly complicated for my needs. Also, it's memory isn't very good. If I forget what a number was, I usually have to check again. Overall, I think this is a very good meter and would recommend it.

Hello. ;)I am just your average diabetic teenager. That would be type one diabetic, to be exact, which means I was unlucky and got it...
