Not Durable Baby Bath Tub By poshpost on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I got this baby bath tub by Child Care during the baby shower. At first glance, I thought to myself, this is not a very durable baby bath tub because of the kind of plastic used. I am not sure what kind of plastic it is, but it is the kind that is translucent and shiny.

Anyway, true enough, after three months of use, the part where the soap is to be placed got cracked already. I am aware of its price and it is quite expensive already at $6, because there are $2-tubs that are more durable. I don't know why my friend got this for us.

This is not really for newborn babies, so when my baby was less than a month old, I used a baby support for easy handling of the baby. Eventually, when she was around 5 months old and could sit down without support, we allowed her to sit down on the tub.

My baby is now 8 months old and we just hold her while standing up as we give her a bath. It is actually faster. Now, the purpose of this bath tub is when we let our baby play in the water for a while with her water toys. We usually do this during the weekends.

For its price, this is not a very good tub. I would not buy it if given the choice.
