Not So Conditioning Silk By JKWlovesGMD on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Personally, my skin tends to get dried out and in consequence when I shave I get razor burn. Since razor burn is very uncomfortable and unsightly, I wanted to find a product that would help improve my underarms. I was delighted to find, in my local CVS, that Soft & Dri came out with a conditioning deodorant. So of course I bought it and looked forward to saying "Goodbye" to razor burn; this wasn't the case. Although Soft & Dri has a great scent and is an effective anti-perspirant it doesn't condition. I found this very disappointing considering most deodorants/antiperspirants have a good smell and are effective. Another downside to this anti-perspirant is that even though it claims to be an invisible solid it is definitely noticeable on clothes and underarms. It clumps up into little pieces in your armpit. That alone is enough to discourage one from buying this product. Although Soft & Dri may make some other nice products, Conditioning Silk doesn't quite fall into that category.

I am looking for a good lotion too. My skin is dry. And, I live in a dry climate.
Thanks for the warning about this deodorant.
