Not The Good Kind Of Burn By Indygirl on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

After having a bit of dental work done, the hygenist suggested I use either Listerine or the new Crest Pro Health Rinse. This happened to be on sale at the time, so I gave it a shot.

Let me just say that I have used Listerine before, so I was aware that their products could have a certain strength of flavor, and a fair amount of burning or tingling associated with them. I always assumed that was the ingredient that killed the bacteria, so I wasn't too worried.

No mouthwash I had ever used or 'adult beverages' I have consumed have prepared me for the burning sensation I experienced after swishing for about ten seconds. I suppose there were warning signs: 'Shield' isn't actually a flavor, and nothing mint should be purple.

Next time I go to the store, I'll be searching for the Crest.
