Slow cookers are a working girl's best friend. Being able to combine your ingredients and then come home to a fully cooked meal is wonderful.
When I first moved out I was lucky enough to find a Rival Crock Pot for only $6 at a local consignment shop. I was a bit skeptical because it was rather old. It had to have been made in the 70s.
The first time I used my Rival Crock Pot, I made a beef roast. This slow cooker worked perfectly. It created a fall apart roast that was absolutely delicious.
That was 6 years ago. I still use this slow cooker, even though I also have a larger slow cooker.
I love this slow cooker because it's easy to use and has a removable insert that is easy to clean.
If you're looking for a slow cooker, I highly recommend Rival. If one of their slow cookers can last 30 years, it must be good quality.

I have this slow cooker also. It's great for cooking so many things. Especially love it for chili with beef.
