This product works well, but for it to work well, you must use alot of it. This product should be used in the morning as it wakes you up, and refreshes your face. I believe this product is mentholated, because it produces the same feeling as a vapor rub, although not as strong. This scrub has made my skin brighter, and cleaner. It has also protected me from outbreaks of acne. Besides the benefits of this product it also has some cons, if used when you have acne on your face the tiny cleansing microbeads tend to tear the skin on the pimples or pop them. The lather of this product is what really bothered me, this product DOES NOT lather at all, although it leaves your skin looking clean and oil-free, it leaves your face feeling like you have cold oil on it, but if you don't mind tha this is a good product, if you are looking for good looking skin.
