Number Race
By donnabc onWhen my son began addition and subtraction in Kindergarden, I once again hit the toy stores and internet searching for a game to practice his addition. And I found it at an educational toy store right in the town I live.Number Race comes with 48 cards with various problems begining with the simple (ie. 4 +3 to hard ie. 53 + 6).One of the things I personally found helpful is that the cards are color coded (yellow for calculations using numbers 1 to 20 and blue for calculations using numbers 1 to 100).So, when we first purchased this game we sorted out all the yellow cards and just used them for our game. Now at age 7 we have added the blue in as well. Also, on the back of the problem cards, there is the answer to the problem...so it's not YOU that tells them they are wrong:0)Great game.I highly recommend it.

Why weren't these cool games around when I was growing up?! They really make learning math a lot of fun!
It is great to find great games that help to teach kids and improve their education. This does sound like a great game. Thanks for sharing the information.

LOL I like that it's not YOU that has to argue about whether they are right or wrong..sounds like a great learning game!!!
What a great, and fun, way to practice math! Nice that they color code the cards so you can have beginner cards. Very educational.
Great way to work on your math skills. The color coding is an excellent idea.
This sounds like a great game to have to help little ones learn. Thanks for sharing.
This sounds like just enough tech to appeal to kids, but simple enough that it won't break down if you look at it crosswise.
