N.Y.C Pressed Powder

I would not consider myself a cosmetics professional but I do love to try out new make-up. I recently bought this powder at Dollar General for $2. I think that is an excellent price considering what face powder usually costs. I got the "translucent"shade because I did not know any better. The translucent shade would be a great powder for someone who is going for the goth/emo look. So I had to go back and buy the "natural beige" shade. I think it provides good coverage and does last a while. It does not have a strong scent. I have not noticed my face breaking out from using it. The sponge to apply it is very cheap and flimsy. I would recommend keeping a better one from a powder you are out of. The container is okay but pretty cheap to. All in all though for $2, I would recommend trying this. The price is more affordable than most brands and it does a good job. I have used other N.Y.C products before and I have been happy with them.
