Nyko Charging Station By Chronotrigga on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I recently went to Walmart and purchased a Nyko Charging Station for my Wii for $30.00. I was thinking that this would save me money in the long run because I wouldn't have to buy batteries to keep plugging into my Wiimote. Boy, was I wrong. When I arrived home and hooked up the Nyko Charging Station, I followed the instructions and set everything up. I put my two wiimotes on the charger and the LED Indicators on the charger would not light up (if the lights aren't lit up, that means no unit is on the charger). I tried for 30 minutes to try and get the LED Indicators to turn on, but to no prevail. I called NYKO and they said that it was broken and that I should return it. Thus, I went to Walmart and got it replaced with another. Well, this one worked; however, the second one doesn't work. Meaning, the first LED Indicator lights up, but the second one doesn't. This is a good idea, but very badly implemented. I would NOT recommend this at all; it's a waste of $$$.

Yikes, you gotta be careful with 3rd party devices. I have a Nyko memory card for gamecube that works great but I guess that doesn't apply to everything they offer. I prefer to just stick with rechargeable batteries and a personal battery charger I own rather than a charge station - cheaper too!
