Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar By 4tyGames on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

For the Nintendo Wii to work properly, the system comes with a sensor bar that you have to plug into the console. With my parent's home theater setup, the cord from the sensor bar to the console sticks out like a sore thumb. To fix the problem for aesthetic appeal purposes, I bought a wireless sensor bar from NYKO technologies. In all, the wireless sensor bar does it main purpose well; it eleminates the cord from the bar to the Wii. But there are many other great features as well! First of all, the wireless sensor bar has better range than the bundled sensor bar that comes with the system. Now my family can play from all the way across the room. The bar also features a timer for automatic turn off when not in use. Finally, the sensor bar features a pretty little LED blue light when the bar is on. The bar runs on 4 AA bateries with a stated battery life of 30 hours. In all, I am happy with my purchase.

I have been wanting to try Wii and these sounds like a handy accessory.
