O2 Atom Pda Phone By Helen Hoh on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

Anyone looking for a phone bundled with PDA, this is a good choice. This PDA phone is relatively light and performs adequately most basic functions required by a PDA user. It does not run on 3G though and relies on EDGE.

The color display is good considering the affordabel price tag of RM1499 (inclusive of 2Gb memory card) and has WiFi capability. It is running on Windows Mobile version 5, therefore the ease of use is pretty much guaranteed. It does not have a keypad but its touch screen is responsive enough.

As a phone, there is a little drawback from echoing. For normal use, this PDA phone does require you to charge its battery daily. Their Wifi capability is somehow limited and at times weak. It has only a maximum Wifi speed of 11Mb. No, this baby is not the fastest using Wifi connectivity.

Its stereo playback speakers are acceptable though for MP3 playbacks. Other type of connectivity includes Bluetooth and Infrared. Browsing through the internet using the default browser is limitating. For people who like to get connected to the net using this PDA phone, it is hightly recommended you upload 3rd party browsers like Opera. With Opera, internet browsing is much easier.
