I'm one of those people who loves to send greeting cards. I'm also one of those people who doesn't like the sappy and sentimental cards. I prefer a humorous card with a little bit of bite. These types of cards are quite often referred to as alternative greeting cards.
I have purchased several of Oatmeal Studios Happy Birthday card line. The cards are funny and witty and a little insulting but in a very light hearted way. For example quite a few of Oatmeal Studios cards are geared towards women and getting older.
All cards are printed on recycled paper and are made in the USA. The cards are sturdy and the artwork is wonderful. One of the best things about Oatmeal Studio cards is that there is artwork on the front of the card as well as on the inside.
If you are looking for a funny and smart card for your next occasion Oatmeal Studios is definitely the way to go. Unfortunately, so far I can only find their greeting cards at Target or online.

I have never seen this line of greeting cards. I too, like a lighter, slightly insulting and joking type of card for most times.
