Ocean City, MD: A town for Beachgoers of all ages
By Zachary Cooper onThis very busy beachtown will keep you alive with excitment at every corner.
From waterparks, to go carts to mini golf you dont even have to go on the beach to have
fun.The beach is fun though and safe with a legendary lifeguards who are trained like
marines.I advise to not go during major holidays if your not a partier because the bars
get packed and the beaches get overrun with many drunk college students.I advise renting
bikes though because the streets are packed with traffic like any other major beach town.
Also the hotels are not 4 star but they are perfect beach hotels because , who wants to stay inside at the beach anyway?
To gete there from MD you must drive up the coast but to get there from Out of state, you
could fly to BWI and Its about a 3 hour drive to OC from there.
No matter what time of year though, the restaurants are very good because 80 percent are
family-owned, examples would be:
La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant
Crab Alley
Jules
Bayside Skillet
M.R Ducks Saloon
Tony's Pizza
Pros:
Great for younger crowd
Good Food
Always something to do
Cons:
Very Busy
A bit dirty(litter)

Editors note* I meant trained like marines.
The dirty conditions beach-goers leave these places in is the main reason I avoid going to the beach.. but at least there's good food nearby. Nice review! Very informative.
Thanks for sharing!
Ive been to Ocean City a few times. When I first came across to the USA from the UK my wife took me to OC..my first impression of the place was OC is the USA version of Skegness in the UK but hotter...which basically isnt good!
