Odd Hours
By cukal6 onI am a huge fan of Dean Koontz, especially the Odd Thomas series.I have waited a long time for this 4th book to come out and I ran out and got it as soon as I could. It's 350 pages and took me about 3 days to read.Compared to the other books in the series, I was kind of disappointed in this one.Maybe it's because I have been waiting so long and had worked myself up about it.Any way....
Odd Thomas has moved to California because he has felt a pull towards this small ocean front town.He meets a woman and feels this connection to her, but doesn't know why. After speaking to her one night, he finds himself in trouble (as Odd usually does) and then finds himself trying to save the world.Okay, maybe not the world, but a few big cities.
I actually found this book kind of predictable compared to the others in this series. However, my mom loved the book and can't believe that I found anything wrong with it.Either way, if you're a Dean Koontz fan, it's a must read.

I love Dean Koontz too & this is on my summer reading list!
I've been trying to find this book used for less than the 19.99 price. I really want to read it but just don't have $20 to spend on a book right now. I'm also a big Koontz fan, and especially his Odd Thomas books. So sorry to hear this one disppointed you. Not much worse than predictable book!
Predictability is a death knoll in books for me. (well, except maybe Perry Mason)
I just recently read the first 3 "Odd" books and enjoyed them. I look forward to reading this book.
