I love our Odesa Fire Bowl. I always wanted one of these. We lit ours for the first time last weekend. I find it so relaxing. My whole family sat around the fire and just relaxed and talked. The fire bowl brings everyone together. It is a nice excuse to lounge around and have fun together. It is also pretty and very inviting. There is also a mesh cover that you may use to put on top of the unit if you are afraid of sparks. It is very easy to use. You just put in some paper and some small sticks, which the children enjoyed collecting, and then you put on your logs. You can also toast marshmallows around it as the flames don't get too high because the unit sits low to the ground. This is one of the best conversation starters for your family. I highly recommend getting one of these. It is nice to sit out together on a chilly night. No tv, no phone, just family.

Any time spent with family away from phones computers and PDA's is great time. I want a firepit for the same reason. We enjoy sitting together at night outdoors late into the winter. This will be perfect for what I have in mind.
