When shopping for a crib I put a lot of time and effort into it. We looked at all the local retailers and we finally deicded on the Stanley Furniture model Tranquilty room-to-grow crib. The crib is beautiful and comes in 3 different shades (oak, cherry, and cinnamon). The crib has 3 levels of height and is easy to adjust when your baby becomes a toddler. Along the same lines as your child grows so does his/her bed. The crib goes from a crib to a toddler bed, toddler bed to day bed, day bed to full size bed so I feel we got our money's worth and don't see the need to purchase furniture again until our daughter is off to college. One of my favorite features on this crib is the drawer underneath (although the drawer is optional). This drawer is ery handy for extra storage of blankets, sheets, towels ETC.
The dimentions of this crib are 31 5/16"W x 51 1/2"H x 58 3/8"L
When converted to Double Bed: 58 3/8"W x 51 1/2"H x 79 5/8"L.
The crib does require some assembely but when we ordered it from our local furniture store they came out and put it all together for us. It was definitly worth the tip because I would have not felt secure if hubby had put it together himself.
Overall, this crib was and still is a great investment. Although there are some teeth marks from my little one along the rail I do not regret this decison at all and we are happy with our purchase.
With baby #2's arrival approaching fast, my husband and I ordered this set a second time!

I really wanted a crib like this with our last baby, but we need a bunk bed eventually. Great investment if you have the space!
